Raymar is proud to sponsor Americans in Paris - Paint Provence 2020. This is an exceptional workshop co-hosted by Vanessa Rothe and Workshops in France. Attendees on this 10-day painting trip to the heart of the Provençal countryside will paint alongside contemporary masters Casey Childs, Michelle Dunaway, David Gray, Olga Krimon & Vanessa Rothe.
The program entails portraiture and figurative work, painting models in the environment, still life and landscape painting, lectures in fine art and literature combined with an immersive program of French culture.
The Workshop takes place on the Chateau estate of a restored moulin, a historic flour mill between Avignon and St Rémy in Provence. Impressionist painters like Van Gogh, Cézanne and Gaugin lived and worked in this part of France. They used the inspiration of the region and the legendary Mediterranean light to create unforgettable works of art.
Raymar will donate panels for the artist attendees and instructors. Plus our very own Emily Dietrich, co-owner of Raymar, will be one of the portrait models for the workshop. So come join us in France!
